There are times in life when we can be overwhelmed by our circumstances and all that we need is someone to encourage us and accompany us on our journey. I believe that we all have the ability to change and make better choices but sometimes that is difficult to accomplish on our own. That is what counseling offers. I encourage and challenge my clients to be their best selves and to experience life to the fullest. With a supportive, non-judgmental approach, we will work together toward growth, validation and self-discovery. I utilize a variety of theories and techniques to specifically fit each client’s needs and to reach desired goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s of Science in Community Counseling from JBU. I work with adults who experience depression, anxiety, grief, loss, abuse, trauma, self worth/self esteem issues, and relationship conflicts. I have also spent significant time working specifically with adolescents and their families to help them overcome traumatic experiences, emotional distress, behavioral concerns, and relational difficulties.
I believe there is hope in all circumstances and healing to be found. Whatever brings you to therapy, you can expect that I will provide you with compassion, respect and understanding as we journey together.
