Grace Anderson
Licensed Professional Counselor
Registered Play Therapist
At the heart of healing is the experience of being truly seen, heard, and accepted—and that ’s what Grace strives to create in therapy. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Grace brings warmth, genuineness, and empathy to individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges adjustment issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
In addition to being a Licensed Professional Counselor (working with children, adolescents, and adults), Grace is a Registered Play Therapist, which has an emphasis on children being able to express themselves in a way that is developmentally appropriate for them, using play as their language.
Grace has worked in various settings in the mental health field with children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about providing a safe and inclusive space for everyone. She practices through a Person-Centered Counseling approach and appreciates that this approach works to build trust in the relationship, so that growth can happen in a non-judgmental space through genuine human connection. This values and honors what her clients are sharing with her. Grace acknowledges that it takes courage and vulnerability to work in this space together.
The world can be a busy place where it can be hard to take a moment to reconnect with yourself. Grace is dedicated to providing a space for clients to feel comfortable sharing what they need to start down the path of growth and healing.
