You Don’t Have to Keep Carrying It All Alone

Life can look “fine” on the outside while feeling completely overwhelming underneath. Maybe anxiety has you constantly on edge. Maybe trauma keeps showing up in ways you can’t explain. Maybe you’re exhausted from trying to hold everything together for everyone else while quietly struggling yourself.

Karen believes therapy should be more than just talking about problems — it should be a place where real healing begins. A place where you can finally exhale, feel understood, and start creating a life that feels lighter, healthier, and more connected.

Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, relationship struggles, and other complex life challenges. She is passionate about helping clients move beyond survival mode and reconnect with the version of themselves that feels confident, grounded, and fully alive.

Therapy That Meets You Where You Are

Karen’s approach is warm, compassionate, and deeply relational. She understands that healing happens through safety, trust, and feeling genuinely seen — not judged. Clients often describe her as calming, supportive, and easy to talk to, while also providing the guidance and encouragement needed to create meaningful change.

Using evidence-based approaches including EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Karen helps clients understand how past experiences, thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns impact daily life. Together, you’ll work to break unhealthy cycles, process painful experiences, build emotional resilience, and develop practical tools that actually help outside of the therapy room.

More Than Coping — Real Healing

Karen believes you deserve more than simply “getting by.” You deserve peace. Confidence. Healthy relationships. Emotional freedom. The ability to enjoy your life instead of constantly feeling weighed down by it.

Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, family stress, or simply feeling stuck, Karen provides a safe and supportive space where healing feels possible. She walks alongside her clients with genuine compassion, steady encouragement, and the belief that lasting change can happen — even when life has felt heavy for a very long time.
