Maegan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a passion for providing quality service to individuals in need of support. She works from a person-centered approach, which means that regardless of where you are in this process, she will meet you there with acceptance. She believes counseling is beneficial for everyone. Maegan believes that having an unbiased person to walk beside you as you explore your own thoughts and feelings can lead you to place of better self-acceptance.
Advocate for Sexual Assault Survivors
Maegan received her master’s degree in mental health counseling at the University of Arkansas. During this time, Maegan worked as an advocate for sexual assault survivors on campus. She provided both one on one and group support to help individuals working through trauma. She was also certified as a wellness coach and helped clients set and reach goals related to overall mental and physical well-being. Since graduating, Maegan has worked with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing varying needs. These needs include, but are not limited to, child-parent relationship concerns, trauma, anxiety, and depression. Maegan’s clinical experience is in individual, family, and group therapy.
Telehealth-Therapy from the Comfort of Your Own Home
In addition to face-to-face counseling, Maegan holds a specialization license to provide telemental health counseling through a secure video platform. So she can offer counseling to you — and you don’t even have to leave the comfort of your own home!
