What You Can Expect

Amanda’s approach to therapy is to provide a warm, safe, and comforting environment to help her clients live the quality of life they’re deserving of. She believes that the relationship between counselor and client is essential to the therapeutic process, and must be built on trust. She encourages her clients to explore their maladaptive thought patterns, behaviors, and emotions, all while helping them build their own skills to utilize in the real world. None of us got to where we are without our earliest experiences. Amanda will encourage you to explore all stages of life you’ve lived, and identify how they have shaped the person you are today.
