Tender Love & Care

Kaylin is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) with over five years of experience. She has walked alongside patients and their families in hospice care, offering mental health support through some of life’s most tender and difficult seasons. Kaylin has experience working with a wide range of individuals across Northwest Arkansas, each with their own unique backgrounds, identities, and life experiences. Kaylin approaches every client with empathy and respect. She is excited to learn about her clients and tailor her approach to their specific needs. Kaylin has worked with clients facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, relational issues, self esteem issues, coping with caregiving, and navigating the complexities of chronic or terminal illness. 

The Therapeutic Relationship 

Kaylin is comfortable sitting with clients in their hardest moments, and she is eager to celebrate milestones with clients as they make progress. Kaylin’s approach is rooted in building genuine, trusting relationships. She wants clients to feel safe, heard, and valued. She believes that healing happens through connection, and strives to create a space where clients can explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace. Kaylin joins clients in their journey, facilitating sessions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based approaches, and person-centered therapy. 

Kaylin acknowledges that a client’s family, personal history, and environment impact their current wellbeing and life trajectory. She uses this information to better understand her clients, and to provide care that supports their goals and aligns with their values.

Kaylin is from Oklahoma City; but she has lived in NWA for the last 11 years, and considers it home. She loves the sense of community and natural beauty in the area. When she’s not working, Kaylin can be found enjoying a local park with her husband and two children, working in her garden, or cooking a good meal. She values fun, simplicity, and finding joy in everyday moments.
